Shenzhen Air and Qunar Starts Strategic Cooperation
Yesterday, Shenzhen Air, China's 5th largest airline and flight provider of China-ASEAN Expo for the 5th time, signed on a strategic cooperation with Qunar, China's most successful travel search engine ranking next only to ctrip.com. The cooperation seeks a direct selling platform through vertical search engine provided by Qunar and is the 5th of its kind Qunar acquired. Besides cooperation in brand promotion, the two companies will develop interface in ticket information search to enable a better and faster search.
Stilltravel sees the cooperation a must when the traditional booking procedures are increasingly showing its incompetence for the ineffectiveness and complexity. Emergence of new channels will bring a better and more cost-effective ticket selling system.
