Spaccanapoli is the road that divides Naples. If you want to experience the real Neapolitan flair, you simply cannot miss the Spaccanapoli, which was created as 'decumano inferiore' by the ancient Romans. It starts in Forcella near the train station and ends in the Spanish Quarters. On the way, there are many attractions, such as the Piazza del Gesu, or Piazza San Domenico Maggiore, and much of the typical city life can be experienced along the way.
Remember to avoid the section of San Biagio dei Librai after 10pm.
