Louisville History

From then onwards, the region started developing considerably till the Civil War broke out and the place needed reconstruction yet again. By 1891, Louisville could boast to have the largest train-station in the south considering its Union station.  The mid years of the 20th century brought decline in the regions progress yet again, as it had severe flooding in 1937. However, after World War II, the cityscapes started coming up and much to the economic changes saw the collapse of the famous Haymarket. Adding insult to injury, the region was also impugned with a short span of racial crisis outbreak, which created moments of unease. [...]
