The first 100 years following the Reformation, Odense persisted on developing its status as the heart of trading for the neighboring towns. Agrarian trading, such as exporting live farm animals, brought big fortune to the town. Subsequently, timber-framed infrastructures, which were mostly owned by the nobles of Odense, were constructed in the area.
