Harwin Drive is a great area in Houston. It's in the middle of a district where Indian, Chinese and Pakistani immigrants live and there are a lot of nice restaurants, bars and shops.

However, the accent is on the shops. There is a huge variety of shops offering a lot of non-original staff. There is everything here from clothing to perfumes and they are all copies of some original brands or China-made look-alikes.

I don't exactly know how the are doing it, but one thing is sure. I bought a couple of things while there and I was surprised by the good quality of the things. You can get classy perfumes for less than $15 when the original starts at $50 or more. It's not the kind of elite shopping place but it's definitely worth a try.

Address:
Harwin Dr, Houston, TX, USA

Price:
Prices are very reasonable, actually quite cheap.

How to get there:
It's in the Southwestern part of Houston.

Houston History

The goal was to start a city which would work as the hub of commercial and political activities for Texas and if you watch the city of Houston today then you will understand that the founders (Augustus Allen and John Allen) of this city have actually succeeded in their goals. Above mentioned two young real state businessmen had bought around 27 kilometer square of flat land for around $10000. Name [...]
