Beach brake at Kaiafa, Greece
Nice pause during our trip. The place was made up of only of 3 houses, a small railwaystation with a little restaurant, I guess you could call it this way, and a little aunties shop.
It's a longer time ago, when I was there, but the beach is still as nice nowadays, as far as i heard. You could camp everywhere there in the woods or at the beach. You normally meet a lot of other bagpackers there too, so it never gets boring, even without any bars or restaurants.
It's a good possibility to stop during a trip and enjoy the sea, and you'll surely always have fun!

Recommended Thessaloniki Guide
After the division of the Roman Empire, Thessaloniki became the second most important city of the East Roman Empire. During the Byzantine period, Thessaloniki was invaded several times by barbarian tribes, and in 620, an earthquake razed the city to the ground. The 10th, 11th and 12th centuries were peaceful and the city had the chance to recover. During the 4th Crusade, in 1204, Thessaloniki became a fief of the Latin Empire, and it continued to change hands until the first half of the 15th century, when it came under Ottoman rule. The city became the home of Europe’s largest Jewish population; an attempt of the Ottoman’s to... Read more »
