Small city, that was in ancient times a big competitor of Athens. You can reach it easily by train. Main point, the city has got to offer is the area of ancient Corinth, connected with a museum. But the most impressive findings are located at the 'national museum of Athens'.

If you are there, you can visit the Canal of Corinth. It is quite an interesting site, very deep, but only 21 m wide. You can walk on the bridges above it, although, it's not recommended for those with severe altitude sickness. There are at least 6 bridges, so you can choose.
