Kuala Lumpur, with its urban spots, brightens nightly just as revelers, yuppies and youngsters party the night away at bars, pubs and clubs. Activities begin at 10 pm onwards though several nightspots open in advance. Karaoke is a popular bustle. Being a Muslim country, authorities enforce a 3am closure for nightspots along the city areas and clubs along residential estates need to close at 1am.
