Mexico City Sights and Landmarks Guide, Mexico

Mexico City is one of the most famous and historical cities of the World.  It is famous for its archeological wonders, monuments, white sandy beaches, moderate climate and dazzling travel destinations. Travel spots in Mexico City attract millions of people every year. It is a wonderful travel destination for couples, honeymooners, families with children and old citizens. It is a great place to visit and explore. Mexico City has a long history, unique culture and great monuments. The city has to offer something to all. There are luxurious hotels, restaurants, parks, theatres, museums, zoo, historical buildings, sandy beaches and a lot of attractions. It is a right place to spend your holidays with your friends and family. Mexico is rewarded with some of the most impressive sights and attractions.

Palacio Nacional (National Palace)

It is a government building that houses the federal treasury and national archives.

Palacio de Bellas Artes (Fine Arts Palace)

This theatre was planned to commemorate the Mexican independence in 1910. It contains murals by José Clemente Orozco, David Alfaro, Diego Rivera and Rufino Tamayo. Museo Frida KahloIt was a family home of the famous artist and Diego Rivera’s wife.

Teotihuacan is a huge urban center and an archeological site worth a day trip.

 Basilica de Guadalupe-

 At this place Guadalupe appeared to Juan Diego and it is one of the most religious sites of the country.

Catedral Metropolitana (Metropolitan Cathedral)

This cathedral is a mixture of architectural styles and it was built over 250 years ago. It is a great historical building. It is slowly sinking in the ground and a major engineering project was undertaken in 1990 to rescue this building.

Acuario Aragón

It is a wonderful travel destination in Mexico City. The visitors can spend time and have fun next to the fish, dolphins and trained birds.

Alameda central

Alameda central is a central park in Mexico City and it has big attractions for the tourists.

Anfiteatro Simón Bolívar: Música de Cámara

It is a beautiful stage for boasting musical and entertainment events.

Casa Municipal (Casa de Cortés)

It is a great historical place in Mexico City where the Aztec emperor Cuauhtémoc was held prisoner.

Centro de la Imagen

 It is a very famous photographic center for the tourists.

Amazing World Fun Center

It is a wonderful place for children to celebrate their birthday and throw parties.
