If you want to have a genuine taste of Brazil (in the most literal sense possible), you should pay a visit to Espirito Santa restaurant, where the flavours of the Amazon are stronger than anywhere else. You can have a bowl of piranha soup, or steamed tambaqui, a type of Amazonian fish, or maybe some delicious stew prepared with mandioca roots, shrimp and jambu, a local leafy vegetable.

The best part about Espirito Sana is that it combines local ingredients which have been used in Brazil for centuries to come up with dishes that it's impossible not to enjoy.
