If you want to return home from your trip to Rio de Janeiro laden with presents for your family and friends, the stuff you can find at La Vereda beats anything you would buy at a regular tourist shop. Here you can find small decorations, lamps, paintings, tapestries and even some furniture, and a lot of beautifully crated ceramic dolls inspired by local legends.

Not only would you be supporting the local craftsmen, but you'll also buy something really nice for your home.

Rio De Janeiro Nightlife

For all dance lovers, there are a number of bars and discotheques that are always crowded. You don’t need any particular name of such places; you will find a dance floor in most of these places. Sit and watch people on the dance floors or join them to shake a leg on your favorite number and have a blast! Cariocas often meet at some bar or café to sit and enjoy a glass of beer before they go out [...]
