When I was in Lille, in 2007 most of the shopping I made for food and the necessary things was in Champion's supermarkets. They were acquired by Carrefour. One interesting thing about this shops is that some of them are opened on Sunday, some of them are not. So I mixed them a lot of times; it's best to check their schedule online, for example the one from Rue Gambetta is close on Sunday, but there was also a close one that was opened. On Monday it was the other way around
