Though it is a bit far for only a dinner (you have to travel by ferry about half an hour if you go from Key West Hilton), the Cafe is set in a beautiful place on Sunset Key.

We traveled there any way, because we were staying at the Hilton hotel so they arranged us a shuttle to bring us there. It was good we stayed until sunset, because the sight and the whole place became so beautiful. With a delicious meal, warm night and a good drink, it became one of the best nights in Key West.

Address:
245 Front St, Key West, FL 33040, USA

Price:
About US$41

Opening Hours:
Open daily 7am-10pm;

How to get there:
By a boat from Weston hotel.

There is a pass you must have if you enter Sunset Key, that you can get from your hotel, if you stay in the Hilton, of course.Reply

Of course, sections of the local community sympathized with the Confederate forces and even hoisted Confederate flags over their residences. Despite the Civil War, Key West had a stable economy. Salvaging (which involved recovering items/valuables from the wrecks in the surrounding reefs) and salting had [...]
