Key West being an island, lazing around under the sun and diving deep into the sea is part of your trip. Higgs Beach in the southern part of the island is beautiful with its white sand and the contrasting deep blue sea. It was no wonder we spend an entire day just swimming and getting tanned.

There is also a pier nearby, we went for a walk there at night, it was romantic and eerie. It was a warm night, and we could hear the sea hitting the base of pier. It was a really good day.

The sea is not always so clear. Last year in August it was a bit murky and you could see seaweed in some places. But maybe we just went in a bad time, after a bigger storm or something.Reply
