San Francisco Nightlife, California

The city of San Francisco, CA US is the 4th most populous county in California and 14th in the US. It is also one of the most popular nightlife spots in US and boasts everything ranging from opera, piano bars, theatres and ballets to hipster hangouts, Irish pubs, live music and cabaret.

Some of the popular places in which you may enjoy the unique, diverse and vibrant nightlife of San Francisco, CA US include North Beach, which consists of several historic beatnik bars, and strip clubs. The Bubble Room is a place for champagne, caviar, chocolates, live bluesy music and biscuits.

South of Market Area or So Ma is a host to several stylish galleries, clubs, theatres and restaurants. The Fisherman’s Wharf is one of the best places for nocturnal outs such as Buena Vista and Knuckles Historic sports bar and grill. Civic Center, Financial District, Union Square and Marin County are all nice places to visit in the night. Marina District, Russian District, Mission District and Castro are always bustling with energy during the nights.

Many other activities can be enjoyed after sunset in San Francisco. The bars are a common place in the city for both visitors and the local people. The bay of the city offers diverse fun activities in water including dinner dance cruise parties. The city comes alive during the nights and you will never find yourself alone. Nightlife is as diverse as the city itself and all the clubs, bars and lounges have unique atmosphere.

The city offers a large number of entertainment from trendy night clubs to sexy lounges. Several music festivals are also held here that include indie rock, hip hop and jazz. Some of the pubs and bars also offer live music shows featuring local singers as well as popular national singers. If you are interested in a sort of change, you may enjoy a dinner at a circus on the water front and also be a part of an Asian drag show.

In all neighborhoods of the city, you can notice different restaurants and bars but some of the parts are just perfect for bar hopping. The Haight and the Tendernob are popular among the locals as both of them have combined dive bars, dance clubs, live music scene and lounges. The Mission attracts mostly hipsters and arty type of visitors and Marine is good for those who want to be in the midst of a clean cut crowd.
