Many musuems in the US feature exhibits of nature, but this one is really something. Tokyo National Science Museum has beautiful exhibitions of the wolrd of Japan, its culture, its people, its customs and everything that is Japanese. There are also exhibits of dinosaurs and birds and nature. They are all organized in a way that is accessible to every age group, understandable and watchable.

We had a really great time exploring various parts of the museum, though even if you'd like to see almost everything, you wouldn't have time for it, or your brain would just shut down from so much information. :) So try to focuse on things that really interest you and that you can cover a few hours without getting absolutely exhausted.

Address:
Japan, Tokyo Taito Ueno-Park 7−20

Price:
¥600, free for children.

Opening Hours:
Open from 9am to 5pm daily, except Mondays. (On Friday open until 8pm)

How to get there:
The closest to the museum is the JR Ueno Station.
