If you are low on money while visiting Saint Petersburg, don't despair. This city has enough good restaurant to feed an entire horde of starved backpackers.

Chainaya Lozhka, for example, serves some great, filling and cheap Russian style fast-food: blini with every imaginable filling in the world! Blini are delicious Russian dumplings, and they are much healthier and satisfying than your standard McDonald's. And while you're there, try out the restaurant's selection of teas, they are really good!

This fast-food has over 50 locations in the city, so it's easy to find.

Address:
Nevsky Pr. 44 (one of the most popular locations in the city center)

Price:
Starting from 29 rubles (that's about $1)
