If you want to visit the Eiffel Tower you better take your time and walk up on the stairs, it's much more fun and beautiful then taking simple the elevator, although, stairs go only until the second floor, not to the top. It lasts more for sure to climb the stairs but anyway you have to stay in lines for some hours before getting up to the tower. And it is cheaper as well, 4.5 Euro for adults, 3.5 Euro for youths btw. 12-24 and 3 Euro for children.
