Located at the center of Mont-Royal Plateau, this street is packed with shops for everyone's tastes, whether you're looking for souvenirs, antiques or some expensive gifts.

I went inside some antique shops, just to have look on the merchandise and it was really fun to see so many colorful, interesting and unusual things. The bookstores were my favorites, I could have emptied my pockets if i stayed there too much.

At the end of the day I sat down in the St. Louis Park with a cup of hot chocolate I bought in one of the cafes and enjoyed my beautiful, uniquely Montrealian surrounding.

Montreal Travel guide

To see it all head for the lookout at the Chalet du Mont-Royal in the Parc du Mont-Royal and you will also see the stone houses of Vieux-Montréal along the bank of the river. What you won’t be able to see is the city underground with all the venues (shops, restaurants, movie theatres) you can spend your time during the winter. Winter can also be avoided when you travel by taking the [...]
