To see the more relaxed and maybe a bit touristy side of Long Beach, Shoreline Village is the place to start. They have a wide array of unique shops, a lot of restaurants with view of the ocean and an art gallery for those with some fine taste. You can also take a romantic walk down the waterfront or take a ride on the carousel which is quite popular among families with smaller children.

Though you have to pay for parking and also validate your parking ticket, the area is definitely worth a visit. Buying souvenirs for loved ones who stayed at home is maybe the most popular thing in the village. I absolutely loved the place and will surely take friends here the next time I come in visit to Long Beach.

Address:
419 E Shoreline Dr, Long Beach, CA 90802, USA

Price:
Free entrance, $1 for parking up to 2 hours.

Opening Hours:
Check the restaurant and shop hours.
