If you travel with large luggage, you can leave it at the luggage locker of one of the train stations like Gare de Lyon, Gare du Nord, Gare d'Austerlitz. If one is not opened, you can ask about the other at the information stand and walk there, the stations are not far from each other. I have tried the Gare d'Austerlitz and I was pleased. It is opened from 7 AM to 11 PM and the price varies according to the size of the luggage and the interval of the preservation. We paid 9.50 Euros for one large locker for a 'less than 10 hours' usage (2 big suitcases).
