Verne was born in Nantes and the Museum was opened for the occasion of the 150th anniversary of his birth. It's a great place for everyone who lived Verne's works in his/her childhood, or even now. The building is not very big, but the inside is great.

The personal objects of Verne are displayed, early editions of his books, manuscripts, illustrations and even models from his books' machineries.

Also, very close to the museum there is a nice planetarium that you can also visit. If you are with kids, they will love both places.
