We just visited the Petronas Twin Towers and were looking for a place to have lunch when we found the Top Hat Restaurant. It looked so nice from the outside with its huge wall-windows that we decided to go and see if their food was good as well. We weren't disappointed.

The whole place is so elegant and beautiful, and the dishes... well, they were just delicious. We couldn't really decide what to eat so we ordered the sampler dish for a taste to see which dish would suite our tastes. We almost couldn't decide. they were all very good. I choice the Nyonya Laksa (coconut-curry gravy with chicken) in the end and the homemade chendol. VERY tasty. And it wasn't so expensive either! :)

Kuala Lumpur Travel guide

Even with the speedy developments, KL managed to preserve many of its local culture, which you can seldom see in most developing Asian cities where local culture seems to dissolve together with modernization and development. Thus, apart from the regal edifices along its center, a lively Chinatown covered with night markets and street vendors as well as the busy Little India are also found in this [...]
