I have only been to Houston once and this place was my favorite. The building is made of silvery aluminum or similar, but it can easily be spotted out. Besides it is kitty-cornered with the Fine Arts Museum.  If you didn’t get enough art in one, you can check the other too.

The Museum of Contemporary Arts does not have a permanent collection, only temporary exhibitions so it’s always kind of a surprise.  It was really great and also free for everyone, any time.

Address:
5216 Montrose Blvd, Houston, TX 77006, USA

Price:
Free admission for everyone.
