Tulsa Sights and Landmarks Guide, Oklahoma

Tulsa is second largest city in Oklahoma. It has an estimated population of more than 400,000 people. Tulsa is a famous travel destination for tourists from all over the world.  Some of the most popular sights and attractions in Tulsa are:

Utica Square

It has more than 60 stores, clock tower and old-time lampposts.  Utica Square also features departmental stores and restaurants.

Cherry Street

It is located near the Tulsa's downtown area. It is a historical place filled with shops, restaurants and bars.

Route 66

It is a historical highway that links American’s east with the west. It attracts travelers from all over the United States. Some parts of Route 66 run through eastern and western Tulsa.

Greenwood Cultural Center

It promotes the history and culture of Tulsa. Multiple events and performances are held in here throughout the year.

Tulsa Convention Center

It offers an arena room, meeting room and it serves as a venue to ice hockey and arena football teams.

Creek Council Oak Tree

This oak tree symbolizes early settlers of Tulsa. There is a great conference hall, law court and church.

Gilcrease Museum

The Gilcrease Museum features a collection of thousands of pieces of artwork by western and non-western artists. The museum also has archival collection.

Sherwin Miller Museum of Jewish Art

It is located on the Zarrow Campus of Jewish federation.  The museum also features collection Judaica and other previous collectibles of historical importance.

Oral Roberts University’s Elsing Museum

It is open to the public throughout the week and showcases some of the most precious gems, unique collectibles, Indian artifacts, natural art and oriental artifacts.

The Tulsa Spotlight Theater

It features performances of local artists, singers and magicians. It is one of the best nightlife entertainment spot in Tulsa. It attracts a big crowd from Tulsa and nearby areas.

Tulsa Opera

It presents grand opera productions. It also offers a lot of musical programs and live performances by various artists.

Tulsa Zoo and Living Museum

It has more than 430 species of different animals.  The 'Chimpanzee Connection' allows the closer view of the chimpanzees. The zoo also features a public park and a lot of exhibits.
