Columbus Nightlife, Ohio

 There are plenty of bars and clubs that you can go to in order to enjoy the nightlife of Columbus.  Scattered throughout the city you can find gentlemen’s clubs that are open for people who are 18 and older and they are considered to be entertainment that is acceptable by most people.  Some of the clubs sell alcohol, some don't allow alcohol at all, and others tell you to bring your own.  Most of them are open to females and males, however, they usually only offer one or the other as entertainers.  If you decide to hit one of these places while you are in town, then don't be surprised when you have to walk through a metal detector and give them some kind of proof of your identity.  It is also worth knowing that the current law will not allow them to show complete nudity as soon as midnight rolls around.

 Hamilton's Pub & Patio is a great place to spend your night out in town.  This place prides itself on customer service, and opens the full service bar every day of the week.  The convenient location allows for them to be easily accessible, no matter where you are coming from.  They are popularly known for their Reuben sandwich and hand-cut fries.  This past spring, they opened an outdoor bar and introduced the “Party-on-the-Patio” during the summer.

 The Taboo Lounge and Nightclub is one of the newest and most upscale nightclubs that you can go to in Columbus, and they have an Ultimate Happy Hour.  For the 18 & Over Summer Party on Wicked Wednesdays, DJ  N.A.T.E. will bring you a high energy performance where he spins everything from '80s Rock to Hip-Hop and Disco.  Then, on Fantastic Fridays, he returns again for ladies’ night, where all the ladies who are 18 and over get in for free until 11pm;  they also sell martinis for a dollar the whole night.  On Thursdays, The Taboo Lounge and Nightclub features the Latin Lounge, where ladies will get in free until 11pm if they are at least 18.  Then on Saturdays, they feature Latin Internacional for those who are 21 and older.  One thing to keep in mind though, is that this place strictly enforces the dress code, so dress to impress.

 If the club scene is not your interest, then you can check out more of a bar and restaurant scene at the Casa Fiesta.  This place has a ton of great food to choose from, and you will be relaxed while you sit back and enjoy sipping on one of their famous margaritas, of which they have several flavors that you can choose from.  Their lively restaurant and comfortable bar is the perfect place where you can enjoy your night out or just catch up with some of your friends.
