As the sun sets, the stimulating nightlife breezes through Akron. After a hard day’s work, the bars and the pubs are the popular places of relaxation by chatting and drinking cold beer, pinot noir, or a classic martini. Lydia’s Bar

This bar is an ideal haven for the local Indy groups. The activities involve dancing, darts, karaoke and pool/ billiards. With alcohols offered like beer, wine, liquor and high-energy vibes the clients include gay, lesbian, straight or mixed.

Northside Club

This place is preferred for its lunch, dinner and after work gathering. Good food like gyros, burgers, pizzas, jambalaya, sandwiches, wraps, appetizers and salads rule the menu.

Thursdays

Mostly frequented by university students and people from Western PA, clubbers try to reach there early to occupy dance spot. As the name suggests Thursday nights are the most admired.

Annabell’s In Highland Square

For clientele of 21 years and above this hangout has a laid-back vibe and dive ambiance.This place is not so much costly, about $1 draft. Local bands, DJs with punk, rock music warm up the place.

Tangier Restaurant and Cabaret

This place has dissimilar banquet rooms along with a bar and can have room for up to 1000 consumers. With gorgeous interiors and dinner service, one will surely feel he’s in Las Vegas.

Lux Nightclub & Ultra Lounge, Carousal Dinner Theater, Funny Stop Comedy Club

These places offer double purpose in one cover.

Brubaker’s Club

Akron’s downtown area, a very convenient and prime location, houses this large bar which is a perennial hit with neighborhood regulars and Aeros fan. The main attraction of this club are its world class drinks and alcoholic beverages served out in the large central bar, but the pub grub on offer is definitely something to be sampled.  Another high point of this pub are its large windows which open on to the sidewalk. As a result, unlike other American pubs and bars which are pretty stuffy, a refreshingly airy atmosphere will greet you once you enter this pub.

Interbelt

For an electrifying ambience and a wide range of alcoholic drinks, gin, vodka, vermouth, scotch, rum etc, you can head straight to Interbelt which hosts Thursday night drag shows - its main attraction coupled with other crowd pullers like Circuit Circus Freak Show, retro nights of the eighties, ladies nights, hot and happening foam parties, techno music and entertainment offered by queens.
