Minneapolis is a beautiful city and is known far and wide for its abundant richness in water, harboring about 20 lakes and the wetlands, creeks, waterfalls and the Mississippi waterfronts. People travel here each year from all over the world in order to see the place that was once regarded as the flour milling capital of the world and a great hub for the timber. As Minneapolis is among the most literate of the American cities, hence it faces no trouble in treating the visitors well with great hospitality. As t features many theatres, visual arts, music and writing, a lot of creative minds from the world are attracted to the place. Minneapolis is also known very much for its charitable operations.

The Cedar Lake harbors a very shady swimming beach for public. The Lake of the Isles is known for the bird sanctuaries that it has on the islands along with the public skating rinks that are greatly groomed in winters. Lake Calhoun harbors boat rentals and an amazing public beach. The snack bar it has adds to its charm further. Lake Nokomis has great beaches, public access to boats, canoes, sail boats and kayaks. Minnehaha Creek and Harriet lakes are other two of the most popular lakes of the city that are a must visit.

Other great sights

The other great sights of the Minneapolis city include the fantastic museums it has. The Science Museum of Minnesota, the Children’s museum, the history center, the sculpture garden and the Mill City Museum are the top favorites of the tourists. The Como Park that is a glass domed conservatory is much cherished among children, as there is a free and an amusement park inside it. Minnesota zoo is another attraction along with the Valley Fair Amusement Park which has the right rides and incredible entertainment for you to have the most marvelous of the times.
