Fort Myers Nightlife, Florida

Fort Myers, FL US - Nightlife: Enjoy The Musical Beer Of The City

Sunset brings a new life to the city of Fort Myers. From pubs to live music and theatres to restaurants, everything is refreshed. However, some parts are closed after evening. In those areas, the hotel room’s TV is the best option for entertainment.

Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall

Fort Myers’ performing arts venue is the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall. It features Broadway plays and world famous performers. The vintage Arcade Theatre, built in 1908, also stages a lot of performances.

Fun at the beaches

However, the unique thing about the city is the popular nightlife on its beaches. The options to enjoy are uncountable. One can dance on the beach, play pool, relax with wine, have beer beside his dog or simply spend time watching an outside courtyard. The beaches of Sanibel Island and Fort Myers promise a vacation to suit ones individual needs. The warm breeze that blows of the gulf rustles the palms. Under the stars, the beaches offer the best nightspots. You can also spend your time just by walking the beautiful streets of Fort Myer or by roaming onto a beach party.

Roof Top Skybar

Roof Top Skybar is in the heart of the city. You can enjoy the beautiful moments simply by gazing at the river from the 4th floor or by joining the local crowd on the dance floor. The Brick Bar on the second floor trickles ambience and blues. It also serves live music complemented by appetizers, coffees, spirits and sandwiches. The Indigo Room, just adjacent to it, brings in national and local talents. Down south, the Ricochet draws a diverse and large crowd by embracing music from hip-hop to country to rock.

Sanibel Island

At Ellington’s, chances are that one might forget they are in Sanibel Island. The Jacaranda Patio Lounge offers a mix of Dixie, Reggae, Jazz and blues every weeknight. The Casey’s Alley features night blue performances and is also a Laundromat.

Cigar Bar

The Cigar Bar in Fort Myers is very famous for Dean Martini and Dirty Tommy. It offers a choice of more than 100 different varieties of cigars.

Other places for enjoying your nightlife

At Captiva, you can drink, play dirt and kick back in the pub. Near the Pine Island is the Matlacha which serves hard drink, good food, a very good crowd and classic blues. To the south is the Bridge Waterfront Restaurant, which houses a year round party of reggae. To add, there are Island Girl Charters, Crow’s Nest and Molly The Trolley.

So, when in Fort Myers, do make full use of the available options and enjoy the city!
