Bay City Nightlife, Michigan

Located in Michigan, Bay City is not really famous for its nightlife. Of course, there are quite a few restaurants, pubs and live entertainment venues in the area to keep you occupied for a short visit to the city, but you will be utterly disappointed if you are looking for an exceptionally hectic nightlife in Bay City, Michigan. Here we are introducing Bay City nightlife options to you so that you can go out to dine, drink and dance, enjoying your short stay to the hilt.

Bay City Nightlife – Bars and Eateries

The Bay City area has a number of watering holes and many of these (above 20) are in Midland Street; apart from the Midland Street Pub at 610 Midland Street, bars like Lucky's Pub, The RathsKeller and O'Hares Bar & Grill are also located on the same street.

Of these, O'Hares Bar & Grill is a trendy place to be in; you get specialty menus at this Irish bar. The bar even organizes live entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights.

Lucky’s Pub is a bit too loud and it is certainly not the place to be in if you are looking forward to entering into conversations at the pub. The dance-floor is nothing extraordinary but you can still dance with the karaoke music played on all seven nights a week.

Besides the Midland Street bars, there are pubs in and around Bay City; you can visit Mulligan's Pub (at 109 Center Avenue), Ricker's Green Hut (at 1301 Columbus Avenue), Steamer's Pub (at 108 North Linn Street) or North Point Lounge (in nearby Kawkawlin).

Speaking of eateries, this US city gives you plenty of choices for dining out at night. Most of these dining establishments have attached bars and even arrange live entertainment for the guests.

We will first name the Old City Hall. Standing at 814 Saginaw St., the Old City Hall has a very pleasant ambiance. The restaurant serves some really mouth-watering fares and the tavern gives you a good choice of drinks.

6 Shooters at 8845 Gratiot Avenue is another charming dining venue. Friday and Saturday nights are special because the dance floor is open on these days; you can also watch a comedy show organized by the comedy club.

Other eateries in the area include Bishop's Inn, Castaways, Hooters, Rattlesnake Rick's Roadhouse, Stein Haus and many others.

Bay City Nightlife – Other Options for You

Voted the “Tri-Cities’ Best Club”, The Westown Theater and Nightclub at 611 East Midland Street is the central attraction of Bay City nightlife. The area’s best bands play here and even national concerts are organized here.

The Harvest Coffeehouse and Beanery is the right choice to visit in the company of friends. They specialize in whole-bean coffees, which are served together with hot sandwiches and bagels. The River Rock Café (at 614 East Midland Street) promises you great fun and entertainment; however, the best place to hit the dance floor will certainly be the Golden Glow Ballroom. The venue boasts of the biggest wooden dance-floor and can seat up to 550 people. Catering and bar service are excellent.
