The city of Cuernavaca stretches over an area of 150 kilometer square. This area covers various tiny localities which are located around the city of Cuernavaca.
The economy of Cuernavaca depends on various manufacturing and many services which are spread in and around the city of Cuernavaca. Along with these, some of the historical agricultural activities are also responsible for driving the economy of this city. Sugar cane was introduced into the city of Cuernavaca by Cortes and various African slaves were brought into the city of Cuernavaca so as to work into various cane fields. Other then sugar some other major products of this city are tropical fruits, corn, and beans.
