The city of Hanover is the capital city for the federal state of Lower Saxony which is amongst the 16 states that together make up the country of Germany. The presence of these three automobile giants reflects that automobile industry is the major backbone for the economy of Hanover and they are the reason why the economy of this city has grown so immensely.

The city of Hanover has also grown immensely when it comes to education. The largest university which exists as of today in the city of Hanover is Leibniz University of Hanover. This university of Hanover is famous for the quality education and the international level study programs that it provides. Slowly the universities that solely target the biology students have also started to open up in the city of Hanover. The city of Hanover has also been gifted with an Arts university namely Fachhochschule Hanover.
