Foshan Sights and Landmarks Guide, China

Autumn Scenery, also known as “night of autumn” and/or “autumnal scenery” is a unique cultural and recreational activity of the city.  Feast your eyes with its marvelous display of light color, horse color, car color, ground and water color and float color.   Get to enjoy the street dancing and a lot of must-sees during their festivals like the Shiwan’s Pottery Art Festival, Foshan’s Lion Dance Match, Shunde’s Flower Expo, Nanhai and Sanshui’s Dragon Boat Matches and a whole lot more.  Mingle with the locals and enjoy these traditional festivals.

Over many years, Foshan was a significant distribution center of commodities in the south part of China.  You’ll definitely have the grand time of your life shopping for commodities at various ranges of distribution centers spread all over the town in different fashion trends and designs.  It has spread overseas market channels.  Have fun while you get to choose among the array of products being sold in their markets.

If you want to stroll along the city, you will truly enjoy Foshan’s Lianguan Park.  It is very popular for its first rank of Four Famous Parks in the Guangdong Province. Try visiting Liangchu - the home of the best in the Ming Dynasty, Number One Scholar in Ming Dynasty - Lun Wenxu, Huang Feihong - the Wushu Master in the Qing Dynasty, Chen Qiyuan - ethnic capitalist in the Qing Dynasty, and a lot more.  These are but a few of the famous personalities in history who have left a mark on the city’s history.  Visiting these landscapes will get you in touch with the cities’ past too.

Foshan has a wide range of traditional tourism craftwork masterpieces and sumptuous food too!  To name a few, there’s Shiwan Gongzai - an artistic pottery, the Lamplight Decorations as they give color and life to the city streets, taste the Shiwan’s Rice Wine, the well known Foshan’s Pot-stewed Pork Trotter, Xijiao Cake, drink your fill to the yummy Shuangpi Milk and Manggong Cake and a whole lot more.  You’ll find that most of the travelers have been coming back to taste this food that are cooked best only in Foshan.
