We headed from the Frankfurt Airport to Crete.

Departure was quite early in the morning, at 5:45 am, so we had to start from home at 1:00 am. We stayed in Ravensburg, which is 300 kmaway from Frankfurt.

Given that airport parking is very expensive in Frankfurt (150,- EUR for a week) I reserved a slot in Kelsterbach, a town nearby Frankfurt (10 km from the Airport) for 40,- EUR. They also have a shuttle service, which took us in 10 minutes to the airport. When we returned, we had to call them and they would send instantly the shuttle, in order to pick us up from the airport. The service was very professional and without any complications.

We arrived at the airport one hour to early. For the kids it was a nice playground because of the large spaces, where they ran and hided themselves. We were much more tired themn they were.

We were a bit concerned, how David, our younger will support the flight, which was 4 hours. He didn't get a seat for his own, instead he had to stay with us in a seat. His flight was this way cheaper.
