Berlin ist die Hauptstadt Deutschlands und liegt im Nordosten des Landes. Ca. 3,4 Millionen Einwohner hat Berlin. Die Durchschnittstemperatur ist 8,9 Grad. Im Jahr kommen ca. 17 Millionen Turisten nach Berlin, also mehr Turisten als Einwohner. Berlin ist das dritt beliebteste Reiseziel in Europa.
Freizeit
In Berlin gibt es viel zu sehen: z. B. das Brandenburger Tor, den Berliner Fernsehturm, den Funktturm, den historischen Stadtkern, den Berliner Dom, die Museumsinsel, den Neptunbrunnen und den Berlinerzoo. Dort ist zum Beispiel der kleine (jetzt große) Eisbär Knut.
Sport
Es gibt viele Sportvereine in Berlin. Vorallem Fußballvereine gibt es oft, aber auch Eishockey, Volleyball, Wasserbal, Handballund Leichtatletik gibt es.
Verkehr
In Berlin gibt es einen großen Flughafen, viele Straßenbahnen, Züge und Busse. Mit dem Flugzeug braucht man nur ca. 7 Stunden nach Berlin.Mit dem Zug braucht man länger.

Zehlendorf is another fine district which is often overlooked by tourists since it’s known primarily for the university, but it also has many fine museums as well as buildings of historical interest.
