Short visit in San Francisco, California

We drove up to San Francisco, which is usually a really boring drive. Driving up the 5 is just terribly slow and the landscape never changes, yikes.
We did stop the first time while still on the 101 to pump some gas, and I don't know how, but apparently we never ended up pumping. Probably the card never went through and when we went inside to buy some stuff, we never noticed that we were not even pumping. The fact that we didn't pump combined with the fact that the gas meter wasn't working, created a somewhat unpleasant situation. Sure enough we ran out of gas another 50 miles down the road. Great!!!
Me and Lori walked to the next gas station which was about 1 Mile away, but it was rainy and we did not have an extra gas tank, which I had to buy at the gas station. Some nice Mexican people then ended up driving us back to the car, which was nice. Shortly after we had enough gas to continue the drive.
We grabbed dinner at the same gas station (Baja Grill). Again, it's amazing how a fast food / chain restaurant like Baja Grill is even better than all the Mexican joints back home in Europe. Axel, who had not had any beer was good to drive so we headed up North towards San Francisco. It took quite long until we finally reached thecity limits of San Francisco and were able to check into our hotel.
The next day we had some business meetings all day, so we could not really do much sight seeing. We ded get into that Transamerica Pyramid, where one of our client's offices is located.
At night we ended up having dinner with another client at this Brazilian restaurant and were so tired that we hit the sack shortly after.
