It´s an open air museum from stone age and bronze age times (4.000 to 850 BC). You can see there a lot of historic and authentic reconstructed buildings. All the materials used have been proved by archaeological findings. You can see how the people lived there, waht tools they used, which clothes they had and how they hunted for example. It´s an perfect spot for school classes to get an impression of that time. There are also often workshops people can do, where you can do several things. Just ask for the actual workshops. Additionally there are also often events, displaying the way of living at that times.
Situated directly to the lake of Constance, it is really worth a visit and afterwards you can enjoy the lake or the nature around it
