If you're looking for anything that might give you a glimpse of Minnesota and the area, either cultural, artistic or historical or the more modern aspect, Minnesota Grand Avenue is the place to go. This long street is filled with restaurants serving local specialties or casual diner places with friendly staff. Shops are like eye-candies with their unique style and displays and not like big retails stores. What give truly a local and unique aspect to the street are the small homes that 'decorate' both side of the avenue.

You can easily walk down the 30block street, though I would suggest dedicating at least a half day or an entire day to see many things properly.
