A cheaper way to see the city from above (well, not that above), is going in Arc de Triomphe. The entry fees are 9 euros for adults, 5.5 euros for youngsters between 18 and 25 years and free of charge for anyone under 18 years. it is opened from 10 AM to 11 PM (or 10:30 in some periods). It is really close (2 minutes of walking) from a metro station, metro's useful to get there being 1, 2 and 6.
