If you happen to be tired of Italian cuisine (which I cannot imagine), chose Casa dei Ciliegi, they have great - let's say - international cuisine.

The food is rather good and they also have a nice terrace where we had great cold beers on some hot evenings, but be prepared that the place is not the cheapest. It has got sort of mid prices.

One thing that is a big plus is the great view onto the Martesana canal!

Address:
Via Luigi Bertelli, 4, 20127 Milan, Italy

Price:
Prices are acceptable, about the medium category.

For outdoor activities, Lake Como and Lake Garda are wonderful spots with opportunities for boating. Biking is also a popular activity and gives you the chance to enjoy the sights and the villas and smaller localities outside city limits. Parking is a problem and taxis cannot be flagged down, and have to be called for in advance or taken from one of the designated stands across the city. [...]
