There is a wonderful view from Sacromonte over the city. You can find an abbey on the top of the mountain, beautiful 17th century building.

What is even more amazing and totally unique about Sacromonte are the the Gipsy's caves - yes, caves in the rock of the mountain. They have no doors or windows sometimes. There is a museum here now displaying the old way of life, it is fabulous, actually, how these people lived here is these self-made caves.

You might easily get lost on the way up, so ask for the locals help or get a map. Or you can take a bus from Plaza Nueva that comes up here.
