Valencia Travel Guide

OceanograficFrench pirates are documented to have raided the city in 1677. These pirates burned down the City Hall and, due to this incident, Valencia lost many documents which were a proof of Venezuela and its history. Alexander von Humboldt, a German scientist, once visited the city and he estimated the population of Valencia to be around 7000.
