If a visitor wants to visit some museums and memorials in Grand Rapids he or she can make a visit to Presidential Museum to see President Ford’s tomb or to the Gerald R. Ford Museum which is located on west bank of Grand River. It is the final resting place of 38th president of the US. Grand Rapids offers some amazing and stunning place like the John Ball Park, the Heritage Hill neighborhood and the Wealthy Street.

A visitor can also visit some of the significant building in Grand Rapids such as the DeVos Place Convention Center, the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel, Van Andel Arena and the JW Marriott Hotel. Grand Rapids offers The Urban Institute for Contemporary Arts, houses art exhibits, and the urban clay studio for visitors having a taste for contemporary arts.

Grand Rapids is also home to a numbers of theatres and stages that includes the Meijer Majestic, the DeVos hall, and the Van Andel Arena.

A visitor can also visit the Studio 28 in Grand Rapids which is the first megaplex in the United States. Studio 28 was reopened in 1988 and it has a seating capacity of 6,000.

In Grand Rapids Township, there is the Frederik Meijer Gardens and the Sculpture Park that has 125 acre of a world class botanical gardens and interesting artworks from some of famous sculptors like Mark di Suver, Edgar Degas and Alexander Calder.

The East towns of Grand Rapids and the Heartside District are also a must visit place if a visitor loves to see the counter culture and the music scene of Grand Rapids. A visitor can also have a glance at some of the professional sports events in Grand Rapids like the Baseball and the American football. Numbers of tourist are also flocking into Grand Rapids to enjoy the startling night life in the city.
