The city of San Bernardino, CA, US, occupies the main part of San Bernardino Valley that the native tribe people formerly referred to as “The Valley of the Cupped Hand of God”.
San Bernardino is the oldest community in California and is renowned as Bernardino of Siena in 1810. The city in its current day position was not settled until 1851, when CL pierced the Union.
