Birmingham, UK - Overview
Birmingham is a beautiful English city, which is the center of education, industries, economy and wonderful travel destinations. It is located in the Warwickshire County. Birmingham is England’s second largest city and it is famous for its worthwhile attractions. Birmingham has a long history stretched from Roman times to the age of industrial developments. Most of the Birmingham’s centers and buildings were destroyed in the II World War. The city was reconstructed and remodeled and got great developments in the recent years.

The best time to visit Birmingham is between May and September and the hottest time is July and August. January and February is a time of snow falling and cold weather.
History
Birmingham has a long history that started from the Roman’s times. The name of Birmingham originated from Bern and Hem. Birmingham means the “home of the tribe. The first official description of Birmingham occurs in the Domesday Book. The Romans left Britain in the 5th century and the Anglo-Saxon tribes started to live in this area.
The wave of immigration continueed to rise from Ireland in the 1950s and 1980s and the immigrants wanted to escape from unemployment and bad economic conditions of their country. Birmingham is a home of many communities including Indian, Pakistani, Black Caribbean and many other races.
