You must check out the nightlife in Barcelona Spain when you go there. Nightclubs will range from jazz to tourist techno trash. All types of people enjoy the nightlife here. Foreigners, students and of course tourists come here to play.
Clubs are a popular thing in Barcelona. You can find a small dance floor and live music in some clubs if dancing is your thing. Some clubs have restaurants for your eating pleasure. If you’re a late night owl, then these clubs will stay open for you till 2 or maybe 3 am. You can also find bars that are licensed to stay open till 5 am.
Coming upon a local hang out is not unusual, these hangouts are where the locals go to play cards and you will be treated with great curious looks when you venture into one of these. Bar owners try to make their guests as comfortable and impressed as possible by making their clubs unique.
While you are there, you might want to check out Rita Blue, a crazy little bar, restaurant, and club located in the Barri Gotic and Las Ramblas.

Bauma >> added on September 1, 2010, by tibi
The only good thing I can tell about Bauma is that they have good jazz.
The rest is a little strange. Some things are impossibly overpriced, like the beer and the snacks. You pay the same money for a 33 cl bottle and a 25 cl glass of poured beer. It's a little suspicious.
You can find much better places for beer, food and culture in the city, where you are not robbed on daylight.
CDLC (Carpe Diem Lounge Club) >> added on June 29, 2010, by zangazanga
It is the best place for anyone who loves parties and beach atmosphere. There is an amazing garden on the beach with great cocktails and great music in the inside.
You can also dance inside and there are nice lounges as well. The whole place is very stylish.
It is a little expensive, but the people who come here are usually rather rich, you may also see some Spanish celebrities if you come at the right time.
Nou Camp >> added on October 14, 2009, by crippity
The home of FC Barcelona who play in La Liga (1st Division). Try to catch a football game here in this stadium of nearly 80,000, even if you're not a football fan. While visiting Barcelona, you owe it to yourself to experience their favorite pastime.
We waited until the last minute and still got tickets for the Almeria (October 3rd, 2009) match. We sat on the top in the very last row, but it worked out because we could see the excellent views of Barcelona outside the stadium.
Remember that they don't sell alcohol inside the stadium, so if need a couple o' pints in you, get your drink on before you enter.
Taller de Tapas >> added on October 14, 2009, by crippity
Taller de Tapas in El Born right near Santa Maria del Mar is a great spot for decently priced food. Our delicious, 1/2 bottle of wine cost only 7 Euros. And, all the tapas ranged from 5 to 10 Euros. Not bad, for dining outside in a beautiful square in an awesome area of Barcelona.
