Yap-San Diego Ancestral Home·   Basilica Minore del Sto. Niño.  This sight was built in 1565 on the exact place where the body of the Sto.  Niño was found.  It was rebuilt in 1602 after it was destroyed by fire in 1568.  It was later on rehabilitated in 1740.  The structure is found in Cebu City. read more
 

Cebu History

Fort San Pedro: HistoryOn April 27 of the same year, the Battle of Mactan broke out.  Magellan was killed in the battle and his men had no choice but to leave the island.  His body was never recovered despite rigorous work done by his comrades.  His fleet of ships was taken back to Spain by his second in command Juan Sebastian Elcano. read more
