Faisalabad is part of Punjab Province in Pakistan and with the population of 2.6 million inhabitants; the city of Faisalabad becomes the 3rd largest city for Pakistan in terms of population. It was known as Lyallpur in its early years but later on the name was changed to Faisalabad.
The initial city of Faisalabad was divided into six sections namely Faisalabad Sadr, Tandlianwala, Jaranwala, Chak Jhumra, Samundri, and the city of Faisalabad. Eight different roads originate from the tower and head towards eight different markets of Faisalabad. Each market is famous for its own style and hence you will have to chalk some time out to actually visit all of them one after the other.
