The verdant greenery of the damp tropical forests crisscrossed by amazingly beautiful sharp streams, towering trees that filter the sweltering heat, abundance of cascading waterfalls, and other such topographical features have earned the island nation epithets like THE LAND OF STREAMS, THE COUNTRY OF ETERNAL SUMMER and the LAND OF REGGAE, RASTAFARIAN’S and CALYPSO.
The country is the third largest among the West Indian nations and boasts of a richly diversified topography that encompasses rocky coastlines, sun kissed beaches, surf and sea, and mountainous highlands. Rivers and deltas traverse the breezy and windy lowland landscape.
