Limoges Nightlife, France

Limoges Nightlife- Excellent Suppers

You either transform a prolonged dinner into a wonderful night, or you consider this the beginning of night entertainment as alcohol digestion and dancing require energy, Limoges nightlife offers great places to eat. Try the local dishes and leave any prejudices behind. Duck or goose or their prepared liver known as “foie gras” may not sound so good at first, but associated with the right vegetables, sauce and wine, all these became a very tasty formula. The gizzard is also an edible part of a bird. Try it under the form of a delicious salad at Les Escales du Palais, a restaurant also serving seafood risotto. Don’t miss beef at Le Boeuf Limousin. It goes well with green beans or potatoes. Typical good French food can be tasted at Le Resto or Le Bistro Henry VI. Do not avoid shrimps, rabbit or fish at Le Bistro Le Boucher. Although the look and taste of foods is great, there should always be room for desserts like profiteroles or crepes (pancakes).

Limoges Nightlife -Bars and Pubs Are Not Exclusively for Drinking

The character of a bar is strangely given by the other activities it provides beside the main one. For instance, you may watch sport events on big screens at Parck Avenue, La Biblioteque or Les Artists. Those addicted to English culture may go to Pub Lord John or Le Buckingham, although the local duke of bars is Le Duc Etienne. Feel the real French atmosphere by watching a show of music and cabaret at Le Grand Zanzibar or South American rhythms at Latino Café. Not so agitated music can be heard at Au Bout du Monde or Celtic and Irish tunes, though sometimes close to rock, at O’Brien Tavern. In case you choose your bar for the beauty of the design, try Le Cheyenne Café, Pomme Cannelle, more a tea saloon than a bar or the dual Tabernacle, a pub and a disco.

Limoges Nightlife - Fine Dusks and Dawns

The places for dancing are either DJ bars like Le Numero Bis, Nelson Pub (occupying an amazing surface of 700 square meters) or discos. The distinction is not very clear, as many bars have a dancing ring and all discos serve drinks and cocktails. Besides, the great majority offer additional entertainment, such as pool tables. En vogue discos are Le Joker and Le New Boy. For old fashioned people or just in case you are searching for alternatives there is Le Grand Theatre. It offers wonderful opera, operettas, ballet and drama performances and also concerts.

if you have more time to spend around check out Clermont-ferrand Nightlife or Poitiers Nightlife
